Rob and I just passed the 1 year mark, and I cant believe how fast time has gone by! Some of the highlights of this past year were:
*Not having to say goodnight at the doorstep, then proceeding to text all night, and all day until we saw each other again. (this is how we spent the first little while of dating)
* We have been able to just pick up and go on weekends to two different baseball games, one in Oakland, and one in LA.
* We were able to go to Denver for a family reunion, where I was able to meet all of his wonderful family
*Just the all around experience of being married and being a wife. I think Rob thinks its funny to him, but I like to have dinner made when he comes home from work. I know, It seems silly and old fashioned, but I like the feeling of accomplishment that comes with it. (yes, I know, I am weird)
There are still a few things we do differently, like how we load the dishwasher, and how we do laundry, but its all in the fun! I wouldn't trade the past year for anything. Its been the best year, and I cant wait for the years to come, and to share in many more experiences!
For our Anniversary, we ate the top tier of our wedding cake (well, not actually- we ordered the top tier and it was fresh-none of that freezer bologna) Then we hung out until we had to be downtown for dinner. We went to the Melting Pot, and it was super yummy. Robs favorite thing was the Lobster tail, and mine was, of course, the dessert. All of it was good though! Here are a few pictures
I LOVE YOU ROB!
Cute cute!! Looks like you had a lot of fun! (and getting the cake made fresh was a great idea, ours looked like freezer-burnt barf after keeping it in the freezer :P)
