August

Wow, I have once again fallen behind my blog. I swear, once day I will get better at this..... Also, I am only going to update us until December. I am debating starting a new blog. The settings on this one are so weird that I just hate the look of it. But I have not decided yet, because I don't want to lose all of these Blog posts.... Decisions, Decisions. Anyway, August was a fun month for us. I guess the biggest thing that happened to our little family, is we found out we were expecting baby #2! (for those of you doing the math in your head, the kids will be just shy of 19 months apart) Finding out I was pregnant was a little different this time around. I wasn't really feeling any symptoms, other being really tired. (but chasing around an active 10.5 month old, you cant really blame me) I remember taking a test, and the line was very faint. I didn't know if it was there or not. So I waited a couple of hours, and tried again. Still a very faint line. By this time, I was kind of freaking out, so I asked Rob to call me when he got a break at work. When he called me back, I said I had some good news, some great news, and a favor to ask. Then I asked him what he wanted first. He said the favor. The favor was to stop by the store on the way home from work and get a pregnancy test. That started a series of questions, which led to the good news (which was that insurance would cover a baby- since it was yet to kick in due to robs new job, I had to make sure it was not considered a "pre existing condition" and of course the great news was that I was 90% sure I was pregnant. As far as this pregnancy, (yes, Im skipping ahead a little) It has been 10 times worse than It was with Anistyn. I was sick every day up until about 22 weeks (I was only sick until 7 or so weeks with Anistyn) Anyway, that was our exciting news. I didn't want to tell anybody so early, but we couldn't do it. We were moving in with Robs parents for the month of September while we waited for our townhouse to be ready, and I thought it was only fair that they knew because I was already sick, and figured they would guess anyway. We just had Anistyn take a note to Nana and grandpa saying only child expiring April 2014. We also told my mom at her birthday dinner. Anistyn gave her a note too. Both grandma's and grandpa were super excited. Anyway, I will update more on the pregnancy later. August also had some fun firts for Anistyn. She went to the zoo for the first time, and we also went to Raging waters. She also transitioned from her infant car seat, to a big girl car seat. August also brought on a new trick for Anistyn. On Robs birthday (8/11) She decided it would be the prefect gift to give her daddy, and decided to walk! life hasn't been the same since. We were at Robs parents when she made the decision to walk (she had previously walked a few steps to my mom, but that was it) She officially became a walker that day. It was such a proud day for Rob and I! We also moved out of West Jordan and into Rob's parents house for a month. We found a townhouse that we LOVED up in Herriman, but It wouldn't be ready until October. We were living in a basement apartment in Robs sisters house, but her in laws moved from California and were living with her, waiting for us to leave. We just decided we would move in with Robs parents, leave everything in storage, and wait out the month. I really liked living up there. I love Robs parents so much! Our new townhouse is about 3 streets away from Robs parents (we are in the same stake) and 3 streets another direction from Robs brother Brent and his wife Katy (we are in the same ward) I guess that's pretty much all I can remember about August. Here are some pictures.
