When Christmas comes to town

I can not believe Christmas has come and gone! It went by so fast. This christmas was a lot of fun, and different from the other years we have spent together. To start off:

Robs mom does brunch every christmas eve, and the past two years Rob has not been able to go due to working at the Credit Union. This year, he was able to! We had a lot of fun, and a lot of yummy food. It was great spending time with Rob and his family. I am so blessed to have been married into such an amazing family. After breakfast we exchanged presents. Rob got a nerf gun (I almost got him one so him and Konnor could play together, but decided against it at the last minute- I am glad I did) I got a cupcake maker from one of Robs sisters. Rob got a personalized thermos set from his mom, and I got the coolest frame with art in it! (dont worry- I took lots of pictures, and will post them) Rob had to leave to go to work but I stayed and talked and visited for a while longer. When I got home, We had a visit from Santa and Mrs Clause. It is so fun to see my dad as santa, and see how the kids respond to it. I also got some good pictures of the kids and the Jensens with Santa. I even got a few with me! After Santa left, we got dinner together, and had everyone come over. Sadly, I didnt take pictures of this time. We do this every year. My Aunty Janice and uncle Billy come over, as well as there son Steve and his girlfriend Angela. We also had Momma and Pappa Jensen, and Patty cakes. Then the usual Momma Ludlow, the Toilolo's the Jensens, and me. We had a yummy dinner. Chloe wanted to borrow my phone to take a picture of Kylie, so I let her take it. When I got my phone back, I had a few pictures, and an video that is super cute! (see below) As dinner was drawing to a close, I found an app on my iPhone that tracked Santa. I Saw that Santa was about 5 hours away from our house, and I told Konnor that, and he jumped up and ran to go to bed. It was funny. We told him he could stay up a little longer (since we didnt want him up at the crack of dawn)After we made hot chocolate, and left reminder notes for Santa, we got the kids to bed.

After The kids went to sleep. we got to be Santa! This was a lot of fun for me, since Rob and I dont have kids yet, it was the first time we got to do this. It was also a little odd to me since we actually had presents under the tree!

Konnor came and woke Rob and I up about 7:30. Rob and I have done christmas at midnight the last 2 years, however with the kids, Britt and I thought it would be good to have presents to open from Santa. Rob got a new set of golf clubs and a driver a few days ago for christmas, and we left those downstairs, but "Santa" did bring him a new Hoodie, and 2 movies, as well as a stocking full of goodies, as well as another movie. "Santa" brought me a hard case for my sewing machine. A sewing kit, and an ipad. I also got a stocking full of sewing stuff, and the last 2 Harry potter movies. (Yes, Santa spoiled me this year) The kids got a lot of toys! the floor was covered in toys and wrapping paper. The Toilolo's are in the middle of moving, so Santa came to our house with there presents too. All in All there were 8 adults and 5 kids (6 if you count baby toilolo) After the gifts, we ate breakfast, and then just hung out. Rob Had to go to work again, and I went to take a nap since I have some stupid cold or what not.

Later that night, I went over to my dads house. We had dinner, and visited and exchanged gifts. Rob and I got HUGE towls with our names on them, as well as hand towls that say his and hers. We also got a gift certificate for a steakhouse we have been wanting to try. Im really excited! Mindi Drew my name, and we got the How I met Your Mother Seasons we didnt have, so we now have them all. Im excited. I love that show! When I got home, I just went to bed since I still wasnt feeling all that great. (sorry, I didnt take any pictures here either)

All in all, I think it was a great christmas! I am so glad to have the oppertunity to spend the holidays with such an amazing family! I feel very fortunate to have my husband! And I am glad we got to experience christmas with all the little kids, and see there face as they saw the gifts that Santa brought them, and the excitemnt of the night. Im sad that the holiday is over, but excited for the year to come! I hope all of your holidays were Merry and Bright!

Santa Clause is Coming to Town

On December 17th, I went to a christmas party with my sisters, my cousin and her family, and some friends. It was a lot of fun. We had dinner, did a white elephant exchange, and closed the night with a visit from Santa and Mrs. Clause. It was so much fun seeing the kids react to santa. I took pictures of each kid with Santa. Here are some: (I only added my neices and nephews pictures here)
