1 Year!

Rob and I just passed the 1 year mark, and I cant believe how fast time has gone by! Some of the highlights of this past year were:
*Not having to say goodnight at the doorstep, then proceeding to text all night, and all day until we saw each other again. (this is how we spent the first little while of dating)
* We have been able to just pick up and go on weekends to two different baseball games, one in Oakland, and one in LA.
* We were able to go to Denver for a family reunion, where I was able to meet all of his wonderful family
*Just the all around experience of being married and being a wife. I think Rob thinks its funny to him, but I like to have dinner made when he comes home from work. I know, It seems silly and old fashioned, but I like the feeling of accomplishment that comes with it. (yes, I know, I am weird)

There are still a few things we do differently, like how we load the dishwasher, and how we do laundry, but its all in the fun! I wouldn't trade the past year for anything. Its been the best year, and I cant wait for the years to come, and to share in many more experiences!

For our Anniversary, we ate the top tier of our wedding cake (well, not actually- we ordered the top tier and it was fresh-none of that freezer bologna) Then we hung out until we had to be downtown for dinner. We went to the Melting Pot, and it was super yummy. Robs favorite thing was the Lobster tail, and mine was, of course, the dessert. All of it was good though! Here are a few pictures

I LOVE YOU ROB!

A big shout out to my mom for helping me make the blanket and burp clothes. You are amazing, I had fun hanging out with you! love you!

While I was at it, I also made some blocks for my house. :-)

I Have the Crafty Itch!

Oh no everyone! I think I have finally became the typical Utah Mormon wife, and I am in the mood to craft. I think It started a few weekends ago, when I made this craft with my sisters.

Since then, All I have wanted to do, was more craft. It was made worse by being home from work for a week for the Surgery. Now, Rob is going snowboarding this saturday, and I am going to be crafty. I am super excited! I have 3 projects in the making. The bad thing about it, is that I cant put pictures up until I give them to the person, because for all we know, It may be for one of you lucky Blog readers. Needless to say, I will let you know how things turn out, and I will post the pictures as soon as I can!

post surgery

I survived. The surgery went well and the surgeon said it was good that it came out it was pretty sick. I was pretty scared about the surgery and recovery but rob has been great. He is really helpful. As far as pain ggoes it feels like I have done a million sit ups. I couldn't keep anything down yesterday but today has been better. I am kind of proud of myself I was really worried about the pain and being a hue baby for rob, although I have asked him to do things for me I dontt feel like I've been a huge pain. And I had managed to go about 23 hours without any pain medicine. All in all I'm glad its over and we can move on to more exciting things!
